Role description
- The engineer will be involved development of Android In-Vehicle infotainment(IVI) system and advance connected car solutions.
Responsibilities
- Understand present system architecture of Android In-Vehicle Infotainment Embedded System and work on customization and enhancement of Infotainment System as per new requirements
- Work on features related to Audio domain
- Software Requirement analysis, estimating new features
- Design, development and testing as per the process
- Defect analysis and Fixing
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electronics,/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related
- 3+ years of experience in software design and development for automotive embedded systems
- Experience on Android Framework
- Experience on Linux User space and Kernel development
- Strong knowledge and experience in C/C++
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Very strong debugging skills, documentation
- Working knowledge of Software Configuration Management (SCM) systems.
- Working knowledge of a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Preferred Skills/ Good To Have
- Audio HAL (Optional)
- Java (Optional)
- ALSA framework (Optional)
- Audio DSP (Optional)
- Any relevant certification is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum?
