Anitox is a Global SME Manufacturing business, based out of Lawrenceville Georgia USA. The company sells animal feed additives to large protein suppliers in North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East. Anitox currently operates accounting entities in the United States, Mexico, England, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant who is looking to join a small friendly team and take on a wide-ranging accounting role. It is essential that you have experience of working with currencies as our finance department does the accounting for US , UK and Middle East, Europe, Mexico, Malaysia, and Indonesia . Full training will be given but it is essential that the individual understands Corporate Accounting needs, specifically general ledger accounting, good reconciliation skills, Sales Tax experience, and knowledge of PIVOT tables and VLOOKUP on Excel.
Purchase Ledger Multi currency Invoice processing.
Obtaining approvals and sorting invoice queries
Weekly Payment runs
Processing employee’s expenses into General Ledger.
Management of credit card s and C oncur training
Accounts Payable Reporting and manage supplier master setup
Intercompany invoices and reconciliation
Liaising with suppliers and other departments.
Balance Sheet reconciliations
Review and accounting for Accruals and Prepayments
Assist with month end closing process , analysis, and reporting
Sales and Use tax compliance, reconciliation, and file returns
1099 compliance reporting / filing
Assist with annual US Audits as well as support for international market s tatutory audits
Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes
Ad Hoc assignments at direction of Supervisor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
A minimum of 3 years in similar role Corporate Staff Accountant role .
Previous experience working with ERP system QAD or SAP preferred .
Previous experience with international business units and multiple currencies
Ability to complete account r econciliation s and draw conclusions and communicate actions steps
Ability to display intermediate / advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Happy to work within all aspects of accounting and interaction with sales and operations teams .
Reliable, punctual , discrete and ‘can do’ attitude .
Excellent communication skills and be highly organi z ed
Adaptable , inquisitive, and keen to learn.
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Previous experience working with ERP system QAD or SAP preferred
Hours Of Work
Working hours are standard Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30 pm.
