This position is part-time (25 hours/week)
The Communication Division is responsible for telling the County's story through multiple forms of communication, Gwinnett County uses video as a tool to inform our residents of vital information, celebrate our vibrant community, and connect resident to our services. The division also manages internal communications efforts and provides public relations support to organizational leadership. The ideal candidate would be able to come up with creative and innovative ways of reaching our residents and employees through video.
This position is assigned to support the Communications Division's Media Service team. The video production assistant is responsible for providing all aspects of video production support to include shooting and editing video, graphics creation, live video production, and encoding content for distribution on various communications channels.
Minimum qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Video production knowledge/experience
Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder) or similar non-linear editing software
