FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $18.00/hr. - $20.00/hr. (based on related & verified experience)

Position Summary:
This role will report directly to the Team Leader and will have no direct reports. The Logistic Specialist is responsible for shipping, receiving, storage, distribution and cycle counting of medical devices in a warehouse environment.This position is responsible for supporting the sales organization by providing logistics/supply chain operational support for assigned accounts. This is a great entry-level position for a recent graduate with a Supply Chain/Logistics program of study/degree.
Scope of Role Responsibilities:
Ensure that billing, shipping and receiving requirements/schedules are met as specified by the customers or the company.
Receive incoming orders and diligently check products for quality before signing to accept.
Review and verify outgoing orders for accuracy.
Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse to meet OSHA and FDA regulations.
Dispose of damaged, defective, or obsolete products through proper regulatory and quality procedures.
Meet established metrics for operations (i.e. service levels).
Prepare records of inventory shortages and shipments.
Keep records of all interactions and transactions of data regarding product and inventory inquires.
Use computers and software to enter, access, retrieve data.
Implement and support quality initiatives throughout the organization.
Store items orderly and easily accessible in warehouse based on protocol.
Understand and implement procedures to manage inventory shelf life and expiring inventory.
Inspect products or materials for damage, defects, or shortages.
Participate in weekend on-call rotation schedule.
Perform or assist with other duties and projects as needed & as assigned.
Requirements
Critical Experience & Skills:
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
Distribution, Logistics, Supply Chain or Warehouse previous experience is strongly preferred.
Undergraduate Degree or related experience in supply chain/logistics is preferred.
Customer-focused/must work well with customers of all levels/backgrounds.
Highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Able to work varying hours/shifts as necessary, including rotating weekends.
Experience in working in a fast-paced rapidly growing environment in which collaboration in all directions is necessary.
Basic computer knowledge, specifically Microsoft Office Suite.
This position requires a general availability between 8am - 8pm. During the training process, work schedule may be as early as 8am. The standard schedule will include rotating on-call weekends (approximately 1 per month).
Physical Demands:
Moderate to heavy physical activity. Repetitive daily lifting of at least 50 pounds.
Standing, sitting & moving for extended amounts of time.
Must be able to navigate the warehouse facility.
