About the Job
We are seeking an experienced A/V technician for the installation & service of commercial and residential AV systems. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining various AV, networking & surveillance camera systems. While most of our clients are commercial establishments, we perform some residential work - experience in both is a plus. Our ideal candidate will have several years of experience in low-voltage installation and is comfortable leading small to medium-sized projects from start to finish. The most important traits to us are honesty, integrity, punctuality, and ownership of a project.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with team members and clients about ongoing and upcoming projects.
Troubleshoot and repair existing systems in businesses and homes.
Install and provision systems on new construction and retrofit applications.
Build & terminate AV and networking racks.
Perform system training with clients.
Safely operate company-owned vehicles and tools.
Requirements:
Available Monday-Friday (occasional weekend work required).
Available to work overnight when required (0-8 nights per month).
Available for travel (typically 3-4 days at a time, always home on weekends).
Good driving record.
Experience installing and terminating low-voltage cabling.
