Role: Audio Engineer

Role description

• The engineer will be involved development of Android In-Vehicle infotainment(IVI) system and advance connected car solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand present system architecture of Android In-Vehicle Infotainment Embedded System and work on customization and enhancement of Infotainment System as per new requirements
• Work on features related to Audio domain
• Software Requirement analysis, estimating new features
• Design, development and testing as per the process
• Defect analysis and Fixing
• Communication with internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electronics,/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related
• 3+ years of experience in software design and development for automotive embedded systems
• Experience on Android Framework
• Experience on Linux User space and Kernel development
• Strong knowledge and experience in C/C++
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Very strong debugging skills, documentation
• Working knowledge of Software Configuration Management (SCM) systems.
• Working knowledge of a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Preferred Skills/ Good To Have

• Audio HAL (Optional)
• Java (Optional)
• ALSA framework (Optional)
• Audio DSP (Optional)
• Any relevant certification is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum?
