There are singer-songwriters, and there are troubadours. Singer-songwriters are sensitive, polished souls, sharing their journal entries with the world… whereas troubadours do their best just to stay out of jail.
Guitarist and singer Grant Green Jr. has kept it funky with his Masters of Groove music project (with Bernard Purdie and Rueben Wilson) and his own jazz and original funk band.
This two-part Duluth Art Institute class is designed for students ages 8-15. It starts with a lesson in contour drawing and ends with making a wire sculpture of a creature of the student’s choice.
