Formed late in 2017 when guitar player, Kai Vaughn and singer/songwriter “Shreeps” started getting together to work on their jazz guitar chops.
HL&R is an Atlanta based, nine piece group of seasoned musicians showcasing and celebrating the timeless music of Steely Dan with a mission to capture the sound, feel & groove of the original recordings.
Their name is taken from the lyrics of the song; “Throw Back The Little Ones” off the album, Katy Lied.
