The Extra Mile 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk is one of Annandale’s largest fundraising events of the year. The race itself is friendly to runners and walkers at all levels of training and abilities, as well as wheelchair athletes, strollers and pets (with water bowls placed strategically so all members of the family stay hydrated!). All in-person finishers get a medal and enjoy a post-race celebration that’s fun for the entire family.
Annandale Village is an award-winning nonprofit organization based in Suwanee and is dedicated solely to providing progressive life assistance to adults with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries so they can maximize their abilities and maintain their independence in the least restrictive environment.
