When the Labor Department releases its monthly report on the job market early Friday, all eyes will be on the headline number of how many new positions employers created in September.
Expectations are that the number will come in around 500,000, or more than double the disappointing 235,000 added in August, which was a major miss from the consensus forecasts. Read full employment article here.
