One of the top automotive brands in the U.S. is making a major change, an upgrade that customers will absolutely love. Ram, the pickup truck division of multinational automaker Stellantis, recently announced the popular Hemi V8 engine is back after a brief hiatus, but that’s not all. Ram is standing behind its customers like never before.
The news here is that the truck division is now offering what it describes as “America’s best full-size truck limited powertrain warranty.” For the 2026 model year, the “half-ton” Ram 1500; chassis cab variants; the 3500, 4500, and 5500 heavy-duty models; and even the ProMaster commercial vans will come with a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and extremely generous coverage. This guarantee also applies to high-performance models like the RHO and Power Wagon.

Why the change in warranty coverage? Well, for one, this is great news for customers, but there’s another reason. In a media release provided by the automaker, Tim Kuniskis, CEO of Ram said, “Everything is more expensive, and trucks are certainly no exception.
