College basketball's postseason officially began Monday night with a pair of ASUN Tournament games that established matchups for Tuesday's second round. It was the first taste of what's guaranteed to be a compelling two-week stretch leading into the March 17 NCAA Tournament Selection Show on CBS.
No. 10 seed Jacksonville beat No. 9 seed Kennesaw State 92-86, advancing to take on No. 1 seed Eastern Kentucky. The top-seeded Colonels beat Jacksonville 75-59 on Jan. 25 in their only meeting of the regular season. No. 8 seed Queens beat No. 7 seed Florida Gulf Coast 69-63 in the other first-round game, advancing to play No. 2 seed Stetson.
