Atlanta leads Georgia as the best city for jobs in WalletHub’s 2025 rankings, securing the 23rd spot overall.
ATLANTA — As the new year unfolds, WalletHub has released its annual ranking of the best places to find a job, and several Georgia cities have made the list—but with varying levels of success.
Out of 182 cities analyzed, Atlanta ranked the highest-ranked city in Georgia, while Columbus comes in at 159th and Augusta at 179th.
The study compared cities across two primary categories: “Job Market” and “Socio-economics,” which collectively encompassed 31 key metrics such as job opportunities, employment growth, median income and housing affordability.
Atlanta, ranked 23rd overall, shines as a leading job market in Georgia and the Southeast.
