The park extends over a portion of the Rocky Mountains, adjoining both Banff and Kootenay National Parks.
The park's two main areas of interest are the Yoho Valley and the Kicking Horse River area. The Trans-Canada Highway passes through the park, making access easy.
The turquoise-colored Lake O'Hara is considered by many as the most stunning sight in Yoho National Park. The soaring mountains surrounding the lake are home to incredible hiking trails.
