Nissan appears to be getting some of its mojos back. The brand has been a ship on a stormy sea, using big discounts and fleet sales as life preservers, as the vessel listed badly. And let's not even get into the former captain, Carlos Ghosn, who languished in a Japanese prison until his made-for-movie escape to Lebanon where he remains a fugitive at large.
But the mainstream Japanese brand cut costs and stripped its focus of core vehicles and regions. Now we are starting to see what the comeback story looks like.
