Nicholas Jamerson is a Eastern Kentucky artist best known for his singing and writing songs. Jamerson’s songs are known for their attention to the natural world, warm hearted characters , and the plight and triumphs of the modern day hillbilly.
Born in a house filled with music, Ivan was on stage performing at 10 years old. At the age of 14 he started playing professionally in the family band. Growing up in a family band proved to be a valuable head start on the road to a music career.
Guitarist and singer Grant Green Jr. has kept it funky with his Masters of Groove music project (with Bernard Purdie and Rueben Wilson) and his own jazz and original funk band.
